Namfon, otherwise known as "Ning" is the proud owner of Happy Elephant Thai Cuisine. Namfon's love of cooking was born when she was a little girl living near the banks of the Chao Praya River in Thailand. In order to make merit, Namfon's grandmother would prepare food for the orange robed Thai monks; young Namfon would watch, learn and ultimately participate. Realizing that Namfon had a great love for the ancient art of Thai cooking, her grandmother proudly passed down her secret family recipes. Since the days of cooking alongside her grandmother, Namfon has realized that being a chef and making others happy is her true passion.
